1947 : Baines Whirlwind Flying Gate

This highly unorthodox frame design is known by various names, Flying Gate and VS37
among them, but Whirlwind was the original name given it by its builders. When the Baines
brothers were approached by local racers to build a fast and responsive bike with a short
wheelbase, one of the Baines brothers, a draftsman, penned this design. Production of the first
Whirlwind began in 1935 and continued into the 1950's proving this design was a successful
one. The International TT was their top model, having finer seat stays and more ornate lugs.
This particular bicycle was purchased new in 1947 by Muckey George and was well used by
him until 1999, obtaining three repaints. In 1999 it was fully restored back to it's original color.

1899 : Eagle Quad Stay Board Track Racer

The Eagle Quad Stay was highly regarded by professional board tracker racers at the turn of
the 20th century. It's distinguishing feature, the four chain stays, were designed to offer the
utmost in frame stiffness and transmit all the power of the sprinter directly to the rear wheel
without losing energy through bottom bracket flex. Eagle Quad Stays were ridden to US
national titles under th e most elite racers at the height of popularity of track racing in the
United States. Very few of these bicycles remain in existence and fewer still are complete and
retain their original paint, as does this example.

No Day Without Fixie

Fixie, more and more crazy course. Every morning, afternoon, and evening fixie bike kept rolling without stopping. In fact there are only a few months ago on Wednesday, and Friday, and even then only at night alone. Every Sunday morning a lot of fixie bikes are assembled in "UGM"one of the top universities in Indonesia. Green, red, yellow, blue and other color combinations between the frame with a beautiful rim once combined with the twinkling lights are beautiful.

Me and my friends often hold events like crazy like " Night Skid Party" and many more in the midnight. The constraints that we fixie lovers and other bikes are not necessarily the weather is very extreme. May the Earth healthy and green again quickly.

Greetings "gowes" for all lovers of bicycles in the world ...
